Lancaster County: development and farmland preservation
Lancaster Farmland Trust
The Farmland Trust is Lancaster's private farmland preservation group. Their private status makes the Amish more willing to work with them, and in fact a third of the farms the trust has preserved are owned by Amish farmers.
